The Mockingjay is coming.

Okay so wow, firstly you are so lucky to have seen The Maze Runner (even if it's only a rough version). So overall, is it a satisfying adaption and does it live up to the book? Is it really violent/dark? What are the Grievers like? What really impressed you about it? I know you don't want to give much away but some thoughts on it all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello anonymous!

I am very lucky to have seen this movie as in my opinion I absolutely LOVED it! It was a well adaption of the book but, you should know that it is not identical to it. Chronologically some things were not in the right place and a little bit in the plot. BUT don’t fret because some minor things were not like how they were in the book. If you can look past that, you will surely love this movie regardless. First, Dylan o’brien was amazing. From the first scene to him in the elevator to his last scene… Very emotional, very great! Newt was also one of my instant favorite characters, as well as Minho and Chuck. I don’t usually LOVE all adaptations of books to movies (I really was disappointed in The mortal instruments after loving the book) but I can go as far and say in my opinion I liked it even better than the first hunger games movie. It was dark and somewhat violent. The Grievers were probably the most anticipated part because I was dying to know what they were going to look like. Let me tell you, I would not want to encounter one of them. (they look terrifying mix of cyborg and *****i’ll let you know privately*****) I was really impressed by the acting and the suspense that came from it. Even though I knew what was going to happen, it did not disappoint. I will recommend this movie literally to anyone whether they read the book or not, I can’t wait to see it again when it’s released to the general public! (if you want to know anything else lemme know, I’ll answer any question that might contain a spoiler privately:))
